Mascots
Maverick and Majic are currently our farm mascots. Both geldings boast the breed’s highly prized rich, chocolate coat and flaxen mane & tail.
The boys are now under saddle and gaiting up a storm!
Maverick comes from a line of great horses. His sire, Silverado Sudden Storm is a champion now showing in Kentucky. His grand sire, VBF’s Storm Warning, is multiple Rocky Mountain Horse Association champion. Maverick’s unflappable personality and playful nature personify the Rocky Mountain breed. He gaits like a dream in the field and spins on a dime. He delights in his victories in our obstacle course, climbing over hills, splashing through water, jumping logs and playing with the plastic tarps. He is a clever, fearless boy who is becoming an accomplished soccer player.
Majic is out of Jubal T, a Sam Clemon’s Tim stallion
standing at stud at Windy
Hill Farm, Michigan, USA . His puppy dog personality and calm disposition are classic Rocky Mountain traits. Majic's
coat is a rich, dark chocolate and his "surfer dude" blonde mane
only adds to his good looks. We anticipate he’ll reach 15’2
hh.
We were so impressed with Majic that we have brought home his 1/2
sister, Maddie. She is a gorgeous red chocolate mare with a
lovely gait and picture perfect head set. Maddie is red gene
negative. Her temperament, build and old time Rocky blood
lines pave the way for tremendous breeding potential.
