Mascots Maverick,
Majic & Jessie
These three geldings represent everything the Rocky Mountain
breed strives for. All three boast the breed’s highly prized
rich, chocolate coat and flaxen mane & tail, but there's so much
more to these boys than just good looks. Their loving,
trusting, inquisitive personalities have made them impossible to
part with. They are a constant reminder of the incredible bond
attainable between horse and human.
Maverick (Silverado Storm Ryder) comes from a line of great horses. His sire, Silverado Sudden Storm is a champion now showing in Kentucky. His grand sire, VBF’s
Storm Warning, is multiple Rocky Mountain Horse Association
champion. Maverick’s unflappable personality and playful
nature personify the Rocky Mountain breed. He gaits like a dream in
the field and spins on a dime. He delights in his victories in the
obstacle course, climbing over hills, splashing through water,
jumping logs and playing with the plastic tarps. He is a clever,
fearless boy who is becoming an accomplished soccer player.
Majic (Majic Dancer) is out of Jubal T, a Sam Clemon’s Tim stallion. His puppy dog personality and calm disposition are classic Rocky Mountain traits.
He is a trusting, gentle soul who attracts admirers wherever we go. Majic's
coat is a rich, dark chocolate and his "surfer dude" blonde mane
only adds to his good looks. His gait is breathtaking to ride,
with a flashy, ground covering stride.
Jessie (RVF's Trinity), is
one of those one-in-a-million horses who is absolutely perfect. I
originally brought him home for a client and now I wouldn't part
with him for the world. He is a gentle teacher who shows
endless patience with children and novices, he is a fearless trail
horse who loves to canter through the woods, and his comical antics
in the barn make him a joy to work with.
